DCCL is a Royal Government of Bhutan (RGOB) undertaking owned company incorporated under the Companies Act of Kingdom of Bhutan 2000.It is a subsidiary company of Druk Holding and Investment Limited, an investment arm of RGOB.
It is a green field cement plant situated 150 km northwest of Guwahati, India. It has an installed capacity to produce 3,000 MT of clinker and 4,130 of cement per day. It uses the state-of-the-art technology of Humboldt, Germany.
DCCL produces OPC 43 (ordinary portland cement), PPC (portland pozzolana cement), and PSC (portland slag cement) under the product brand of Dragon Cement.
Both the Bhutan Standards Bureau, and Bureau of Indian Standards have licensed Dragon Cement.
