In line with management’s decision, we are inviting quotations from competitive vendors for the procurement of welding rod for the year 2025. We kindly request you to provide your rates, which must remain firm and consistent throughout the contract period.
Please submit your quotation in a password-protected format no later than 1500 hours on December 9, 2024. The bids will be opened on the same day at 1530 hours. Offers received after the deadline will not be accepted and will be considered invalid. .
It is essential that your rates are competitive, justifiable, and reflect the quality and value we require. Only quotations meeting these criteria will be considered, as our objective is to secure optimal procurement terms.
Terms and Conditions
- The final delivery point for the materials will be the DCCL Store. Payment will be made after the delivery of the materials, and no advance payment will be provided.
- The quoted price must include all taxes and duties applicable in India. However, taxes and duties in Bhutan will be covered by DCCL. Bank charges, on the other hand, shall be the responsibility of the supplier.
- Any delay in the delivery of goods will incur Liquidated Damages (LD) at a rate of 0.3% per day, up to a maximum of 10%. The LD will be calculated based on the total value of the delayed items.
- In the event of material rejection, the supplier must replace or remove the rejected items within 10 days of receiving the rejection notice from DCCL. Failure to comply within this timeframe will incur a penalty of 0.3% of the quoted value per item for each day of delay, up to a maximum of 30 days. If the replacement or removal of the rejected items exceeds 30 days, the items will be seized and become the property of DCCL. Furthermore, the order will be cancelled, and the performance security will be forfeited.
- The warranty period for goods is typically one year. However, in certain cases, it may extend to 18 months from the date of supply or from the date the items are put into use. Where applicable, the manufacturer’s warranty period shall serve as the operational warranty for specific equipment. However, the actual warranty period may exceed the aforementioned durations.
- Orders will be placed based on the lowest evaluated bid and the shortest delivery time. However, any deviation from the terms and conditions outlined above will result in the rejection of the bid during the evaluation process.
- DCCL reserves the right to accept or reject any quotation without providing a reason. The decision to place the order will be solely at the discretion of the management.
