DCCL produces OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) 43, PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement) and PSC (Portland Slag Cement) under the product of Dragon Cement.

OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) 43, PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement) and PSC (Portland Slag Cement) are popular in the region.

OPC 43 and 53 are used in buildings and structures where high early strength is required. PPC and PSC are used in mass concreting, marine and adverse environment. Buildings constructed by PSC and PPC are proven to be more durable than the OPC building.

Dragon Cement OPC- 43

It is an Ordinary Portland Cement having a minimum strength of 43 mega-pascal or 430 kg/cm2 in 28 days. It is prepared by adding 4% gypsum in clinker. The cement will has fast setting and high early strength. It conforms to IS 8112/1989 with more than strength of 23, 33 and 43 mega-pascal in 3 day, 7 day and 28 day.

Dragon Cement PPC

In this cement, fly ash is added up to 30%, and inter-grinded with 4% gypsum and 66% clinker to produce Portland Pozzolana Cement. This cement conforms to IS 1489(Part-I)/1991, having strength of 23, 33, and 43 mega-pascal in 3 day, 7 day and 28 day although the norms require minimum strength of 16, 22 and 33 mega-pascal respectively. High strength is achieved by the good quality of clinker and then the technique grinding.

Dragon Cement PSC

Ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) is added up to 65% with 4% gypsum and 31% clinker and inter-grinded to obtain Portland Slag Cement. This cement conforms to IS 455/1989 but having strength of 23, 33, and 43 mega-pascal for 3 day, 7day and 28 day although the statutory requirement is 16, 22, and 33 mega-pascal respectively. High strength is achieved by the high quality of clinker, good quality of slag and the technique of grinding.
